Joyce Walz was honored at our December 10th meeting for her eight years of service on Council for the Borough of Rockledge from 1999 to 2007. She received a citation from State Representative George Kenney as well as a certificate of recognition from Senator LeAnna Washington.

Mayor Harold Praediger and State Representative George Kenney award citations to the Boy Scout Troop 226 for their courageous actions demonstrated on October 20th, 2007 with the rescue of a fallen hiker in the woods of Berks County.

April 7 marked the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Rockledge Park Walking Trail. Completed in 2005, this new trail was made possible by a grant obtained with the help of Representative George Kenney. A gazebo was also donated to the park by the Rockledge-Cheltenham Rotary Club.
