ROCKLEDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL
COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
OF August 22, 2005

A special meeting of the Rockledge Borough Council was held at 7:30 p.m. on August 22, 2005, at the Rockledge Volunteer Fire Company. The roll was called as follows: Mr. Denelsbeck, Mrs. Walz, Mr. Mori, Mr. Casey and Mayor Costello. This meeting was held for the purpose of opening paving bids.

Mr. Denelsbeck opened the first bid which was from Scott Contractors. Total amount of base bid: $448,315 with the following alternates: #1 Loney Street: $18,125; #2 Borbeck: $18,685; and #3 Fox Street: $23,310.

Mr. Denelsbeck opened the second bid from Morrissey Contractors. Total amount of base bid: $396,740 with the following alternates: #1 Loney: $16,093; #2 Borbeck: $16,568; and #3 Fox Street: $20,655.

Mr. Denelsbeck opened the third bid from Associated Paving Contractors. Total amount of base bid: $419,270 with the following alternates: #1 Loney Street: $16,980; #2 Borbeck: $17,490; and #3 Fox Street: $21,810.

Mr. Mori made a motion to award the bid to Morrissey Contractors (low bidder) pending certification of bonds and references. All were in favor.

Mrs. Walz made a motion to adjourn. All were in favor.
