Position Title: Part-Time Police Officer
Department: Rockledge Borough Police Department
Application Deadline: Continuous recruitment, applications for part-time police officers are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Pay Rate: Starting pay begins at $25 per hour, with higher rates available based on experience and qualifications.
Position Summary:
The Rockledge Borough Police Department is seeking motivated, community-minded individuals for the position of Part-Time Police Officer. Successful candidates will serve with pride and professionalism in a supportive and engaged community.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with rotating shifts, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and the possibility of short-notice call-ins or quick turnaround times.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess Act 120 certification or be Act 120 certified by the hire date
- Ability to work a rotating schedule as described above
- Must pass a formal background investigation, as well as physical and psychological examinations
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
